The Community Capital Credit Fund
The Purpose
The Community Capital Credit Fund will enable more promising social purpose organisations to successfully traverse through the growth cycle.
Management fees (net of internal costs) will be donated to promising early-stage social purpose organisations, supporting them to focus on their social impact expertise in the early stages, and then readying them for the tasks of organisation-building and long term funding sustainability.
The Fund
The Community Capital Credit Fund provides diversified global private debt exposure through leading providers such as Partners Group, Varde, Hayfin, Pacific Alliance Group and Bain.
The fund has been established with support and a cornerstone investment from Australian Retirement Trust, along with foundation investments from leading superannuation funds and philanthropic foundations including Minderoo, Insignia and legalsuper.

David Williams
Executive Director Ventures and Partnership, Social Ventures Australia
David joined SVA in 2017 as Executive Director, Ventures & Partnerships. Prior to joining SVA, David worked for over a decadewith the international development non-for-profit organisation, TechnoServe, in operational and strategic roles across the US, East and West Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean (and continues to support TechnoServe as a Senior Advisor). David has also held roles at Bain & Co in Australia, Spain and Korea, and at Sydney-based Pacific Equity Partners.
Amanda Miller, OAM
Co-Chair, Philanthropy Australia
Amanda is a co-founder of Impact Generation Partners, which invests inand advisespurpose-driven enterprises that deliver social and/or environmental returns alongsidefinancial returns. Amanda is a Director at Impact Investing Australia (IIA), Co-Chair of Philanthropy Australia and Deputy Chair for the Expert Panel of the Federal Government's Social Impact Investing (SII) Taskforce. Amanda was previously a Board member of Australians Investing In Women (AIIW) and Chair of Kids in Philanthropy (KIP).
Skye Heller
Impact Investing Manager, Minderoo
Skye has over a decade of experience in impact investing and, in her current role, she is responsible for investing Minderoo's $250m Strategic Impact Fund. Skye previously worked at Bridges Fund Management in the UK, where she raised and invested in the Bridges Social Entrepreneurs Fund.
Since returning to Australia, Skye has consulted to leading impact investing Skye Heller, players including NSW Treasury’s Office of Social Impact Investment (OSII), Social Ventures Australia (SVA) and Social Enterprise Finance Australia (SEFA). Skye has also held roles at Goldman Sachs, JBWere and Macquarie Group, as well as in finance start-ups.
Abhilash Mudaliar
Chief Portfolio Officer, Paul Ramsay Foundation
A 'for purpose' sector professional with over 15 years of experience in various impact investing, philanthropy and not-for-profit roles. Currently, in his role as Chief Portfolio Officer at the Paul Ramsay Foundation, Abhilash oversees the management of a portfolio of impact investments and grants that seek to contribute to breaking cycles of disadvantage in Australia. Prior to this, Abhilash was part of the leadership team at the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), driving global market development in this space.Abhilash also worked at a microfinance accelerator in India, where he supported early-stage institutions to scale their reach and impact.
Daniel Petre, AO
Co-Founder AirTree Ventures
Daniel is a leader in Australia’s technology and venture capital industry. Daniel spent nine years at Microsoft, including threeyears as a Managing Director. He went on to establish three major technology investment companies in Australia -ecorp, netusand AirTreeVentures. Ecorpand netusinvested over $100m in technology companies in Australia, whilst AirTreeVentures remains one of Australia’s preeminent venture capital firms (of which Daniel remains Co-Founder and Partner Emeritus).
Daniel’s contribution to the not-for-profit sector has also been immense, with positions held as Chairperson of the Board at Vera Living, Member of the Advisory Council, UNSW Centre for Social Impact (CSI) and Member of the Governing Council at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network, amongst others. Most recently, Daniel founded StartGiving, a not-for-profit supporting successful founders and executives to establish their own charitable foundations.
